Gold Level Living

As we work hard for things, including our goals, our daily tasks, our jobs, and as we labor and plant, we develop the beautiful quality of faithfulness.

Throughout my life, I have learned that faithfulness has its rewards. We aren't sure where and we won't know when, but I can promise that our acts of faithfulness will be rewarded.

Let me give you an example: one time we were given second row tickets to a Dallas Mavericks game. What an incredible experience. We saw the players right there on the court, had a four-course meal, took in the sights and sounds of the AA Center, and were ushered into the "gold level" underground parking. The game was a special moment in time--not the pinnacle of life, but a sweet date-night out and a wonderful reminder that when we are faithful, surprises will come our way.

I believe that in heaven we will literally walk on streets of gold, but can you believe and hope with me for “gold level living” here on earth too?

You WILL come forth as gold! I believe it. Do you?
