May You Have The Courage To Step In!

I’m pretty excited to write to you this month — November has always been one of my favorites. It’s a month that signals new weather, new celebrations, and even new time zones. While the Jewish new year often begins in September or October, November feels like the settling in — the establishment of new rhythms and goals.
We begin to prepare for the holidays.
We take inventory of gratitude.
We decorate, plan, and dream.
We gather the pieces of the year — the prayers, the lessons, the breakthroughs — and we start to see how God has been weaving it all together.
November is a harvest month — not just for crops, but for ideas, alignment, and faith. It’s where things begin to click into place. The seeds sown in earlier seasons start to bear fruit. You begin to see why God asked you to release certain things in July, refine your vision in August, press into obedience in September, and trust through transition in October.
Now, He’s inviting you to receive.
To step into new wine with courage and surrender.
Because with every new thing God wants to do, there comes resistance. There’s a shedding of the old — like the trees releasing their leaves, we too are invited to let go. Let go of performance. Let go of striving. Let go of perfection. Let go of the old wineskins that can’t contain what He’s pouring next.
November whispers, “Prepare your nest.”
Gather your sticks, your warmth, your strength, and your faith.
The winter months will be a time of rest and refinement, not regression. A time to cozy close to the Father, to hear His heartbeat for what’s ahead.
Lean in.
Breathe deep.
Let His love do the heavy lifting this month.
The “brand new you” God’s been forming all year is ready to emerge — strong, steady, and full of grace. Don’t rush the process; just receive it. The winepress has been worth it. The new thing is ready to flow.
November is here — and it is good.
I cannot wait to see what’s coming for you. It’s going to be so, so good.
"And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.” -Mark 2:22
