March Momentum: Walls are Falling!

Hello Friend,

March is here—and with it comes momentum and God-breathed movement. If we listen to the news and get steeped in the darkness all around us, we can get paralyzed and stuck. But I want to remind you that you are a child of the most high God. 

Let us recall the story of the Destruction of Jericho found in the Bible, in Joshua 6:

“Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel. No-one went in and no-one when out. And the Lord said to Joshua: “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, its king and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do this six days….But on the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with the great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat…And it came to pass so on the seventh day that they rose early, about the dawning of the day, and marched around the city seven times in the same manner. And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people, “Shout, for the Lord has given you the city!"

This month at Brand New U, we’re declaring this truth:

Every wall that has stood in the way of your kingdom purpose and assignment is coming down. 

• The wall of hesitation.

• The wall of fear.

• The wall of “maybe later.”

• The wall of doing it alone.

Every enemy of distraction, depression and discouragement is being defeated. Every high thing that has exalted itself against the knowledge of Christ must fall.

Momentum in Christ is yours to claim. 

This isn’t about moving through life faster - it’s about moving forward with clarity of goals, courage to overcome fear, and conviction to reach beyond yourself. 

Your purpose matters because this is about a world that needs you now more than ever. 

Perhaps you're being called to start a business, launch a nonprofit, write a book, get a promotion, join a team, become a teacher, paint that painting, take that picture, create that system, step out to take those classes, run for office, start that podcast, take that trip, share your story…..

Shout! For the Lord is giving you the city! 

When we ask God for His heart, mind, insight and perspective…when we yield to His agenda and not ours…and when we walk obediently in alignment with His order of things and with His heart, we give God the power to break the cycles in our lives that built the walls.

Ask God these three questions this March:

1. God, what are my marching orders (these are the assignments God has given you to complete)? 

2. God, who are my marching buddies (these are the people God is sending you to run with to help you accomplish your goals)?

3. God, what are our marching mantras (these are the truth bombs that dispel all the lies the enemy will try to throw at you)? 

I believe in you and the God in you and know He will activate every gift in you so that you can help others. 

Why March Matters

Momentum builds when alignment meets obedience. I have been coaching people now for over 12 years and one thing I know - this time of year is one of your most productive times to put your ideas into action. 

Stop circling the same mountain.

Stop waiting for perfect timing.

Decide, “This is the season I step through.”

And I believe for many of you — this is that season.
