It's Time To Celebrate

In late October, I woke up after having the sweetest dream. The dream was that snow was coming out of the vents of my home.

Inside were Christmas trees everywhere and at the top of the trees were fairy lights dusted with snow. I woke up with the warmest, sweetest smile, thanking Heaven for such a sweet dream.

I’m usually not an early Christmas decorator. In fact, some years I require great help to even get my decor up at all.

Last year, I had been so busy building Brand New U that, even though my hubby set up the tree, it never got decorated. The green and red bins from the attic sat in our dining room right through the holidays.

So this year I decided to begin early, with hope as my fuel and snow as my vision.

I gathered the help of client, friend and artist Malika Roberts, sharing with her the vision of our winter wonderland. I’m so happy with how it turned out. And now we get to harvest and celebrate all God has done this year.

One year ago, toward the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, I began dreaming about a way to gather our community together with monthly events. The vision was based on giving our coaching clients a platform to speak, as well as encouraging us all to begin meeting together regularly again. The "It's Time" Lunch & Learn series was born. Each month, from February through November, you have brought your lunch, your friends and your colleagues to hear the most incredible lineup of speakers.

We are moving the time to the evening and location to my church because we want the ability to accommodate more people.

My small group, Enterprising Women, will be hosting you. Lori McCaghren of Union Home Mortgage and catering by Lilian Chivira , with Joy in the Breakroom, will be providing heavy hors d'oeuvres for dinner.

We'll have shopping, music, games, networking, fun and a special word from - ME!

I believe God has given me a very distinct word you for this season that starts with the dream I shared at the beginning of this blog. It’s all about SNOW!

If you want to put a pretty bow on 2024, if you need vision for 2025, if you just want to come to a place to be seen, heard and loved, this is the event for you!

In 2025, we will be embarking on a new plan to gather (think bigger, fewer events)...So, whether you've attended one of our Lunch & Learns this year or have yet to, "It's Time" to celebrate!!
